Hi
I have a SONY NEX-5 and my
main photographic interest is Macro.
But when using the NEX it was not possible to use flash with macro.
Then I got an idea to build a extender to the flash body connection. But due to the non
standard mount it was not that easy.
Then I say Pete Ganzel homepage where he dismounted the NEX
flash.
So the new idea was to make a
flexible arm with the flash tube at the end.
The result was over
expectation. (Works best with an extra diffuser on the flash tube)

For pictures on a refurbish Macro Focusing Rail Slider press here.
I don’t take any
responsibilities if other doing the same. This modification will ruin the
grantee of the Flash and maybe also the Camera.
